True Botanicals offers a wide range of skincare products, including face oils, serums, treatments, and more. These products are specifically designed to target various skin concerns such as signs of aging and acne. In addition to skincare, they also have a selection of makeup items like tinted moisturizers and lipsticks.

What I really appreciate about True Botanicals is that most of their products are enriched with antioxidants. These antioxidants play a crucial role in combating environmental stressors like pollution and sun exposure, which can lead to wrinkles and discoloration. This is why I personally love Beautycounter’s Vitamin C Serum as well.

If you’re considering trying out True Botanicals, I’ve already tested and can vouch for the first seven products on their list. As for the last five, they are currently in my cart, waiting to be purchased!

True Botanicals Turmeric Cleansing Balm

True Botanicals Turmeric Cleansing Balm

I absolutely adore a good cleansing balm! The Colleen Rothschild balm is hands down my all-time favorite, but the True Botanicals Turmeric Cleansing Balm comes in at a very close second. The natural ingredients in both of these balms work wonders for nourishing the skin while effectively removing dirt, makeup, sunscreen, and other impurities without leaving it feeling dry. And let me tell you, the scent is simply divine! The blend of ginger root, mandarin, and neroli oils creates a heavenly aroma that lingers on the skin. The True Botanicals balm, in particular, left my skin feeling revitalized and refreshed (it’s a strange way to describe it, but it’s the best way I can put it), and I believe it’s all thanks to the ginger. A little bit of this balm goes a long way, so it’s definitely worth the investment!

Although I have a soft spot for my beloved Colleen Rothschild Cleansing Balm because of its delightful scent, I must admit that the True Botanicals cleansing balm or the Beautycounter Cleansing Balm would be excellent choices if you prefer a fragrance-free option. I try to steer clear of fragrance as much as possible, especially after discovering through Beautycounter’s Never List that some brands use “fragrance” as a sneaky way to hide not-so-great ingredients. So, if you’re looking for a balm that’s gentle on the skin and free from any added scents, these two options would be perfect for you!

Microbiome Enzyme Essence

Microbiome Enzyme Essence

It’s seriously one of the best products I’ve ever tried. Essences are meant to prep your skin for serums, kind of like a toner. This one is extra special because it’s packed with active prebiotics that give your skin a soft, radiant glow. Plus, it also has AHAs and enzymes that work together to resurface your skin. Now, AHAs can sometimes be a little drying, but this essence is surprisingly nourishing. You can use it every day without any worries. It’s perfect for tackling dullness, uneven skin tone, and fine lines.

Now, let me tell you about another essence that I’m absolutely obsessed with – the Beautycounter Countertime Essence. I’ve been using it for years and it’s been a game-changer for my skin. But you know what? I actually like the True Botanicals essence even more. It’s got this amazing, slightly thicker texture that feels like a luxurious facial oil. In comparison, the Beautycounter Essence is a bit more watery, but still hydrating. The only downside is that the True Botanicals one is a bit pricier. It’s $80 for 4 oz, while the Beautycounter one is $68 for 5 oz. So, what I might do is use the True Botanicals essence in the morning and save the Beautycounter one for my nighttime routine.

True Botanicals Renew Chebula Active Serum

True Botanicals Renew Chebula Active Serum

I’m really loving this lightweight, anti-aging serum. It absorbs into my skin super quickly and the scent is absolutely delightful. That’s a big deal for me because I’m really sensitive to strong smells. I haven’t been using it for very long, but I can already feel my skin becoming more hydrated right after I put it on. It’s a bit more like an oil rather than the usual lotion-like texture of my other serums, which is great because my skin tends to be on the dry side.

One of the main ingredients in this serum is Chebula, which is known for its amazing anti-aging properties. It helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles, evens out my skin tone, and gives it a brighter and firmer appearance. On top of that, it also contains elderberry, ginger, and echinacea, which boost the antioxidant content and promote cellular rejuvenation. Honestly, I prefer this serum over the Beautycounter Radiance Serum I used to use.

True Botanicals Skin Tint

True Botanicals Skin Tint

I’ve been on the hunt for a tinted moisturizer that doesn’t dry out my skin and provides enough coverage, and True Botanicals Everyday Skin Tint SPF 30 is definitely on my wishlist. I used to swear by Beautycounter’s Dew Skin, but as I’ve gotten older, I found it to be too drying. While I love the ILIA Skin Serum, the funky smell is a bit of a turn-off.

However, I’m confident that True Botanicals’ tinted sunscreen blend will be a winner, especially since I enjoy the scent of their other products and they’re all so hydrating. The breathable texture and instant skin match are also major pluses, and I appreciate that the formula mimics the natural oils of the skin’s moisture barrier and doesn’t clog pores. Plus, the anti-aging benefits and broad-spectrum sun protection are definitely a bonus.

Supersea Firming & Lifting Treatment

Supersea Firming & Lifting Treatment

I was absolutely blown away by the SuperSEA Firming & Lifting Treatment. After trying it out following my initial post, I knew I had to include it right away. It’s like having a facelift in a bottle! This incredible product harnesses the power of seaweeds and sea minerals to gradually firm, lift, and tighten the skin. Plus, it’s enriched with camelina and algae oils that provide nourishment and hydration while promoting elasticity.

The moment I applied it, I could feel a noticeable difference in my skin. I’m eagerly awaiting the long-term results after using it consistently. Over the years, my smile lines have become more pronounced, and I’m really hoping this treatment can help with that. Moreover, I feel much more confident about the ingredients in the SuperSea treatment compared to the Skinmedica TNS Advanced Serum I used in the past for sagging and deep wrinkles.

To incorporate it into my skincare routine, I use the Chebula Active Serum in the morning and the Firming & Lifting treatment in the evening.

Chebula Extreme Cream

Chebula Extreme Cream

I’m always on the hunt for the thickest, most hydrating moisturizer to combat my super dry skin. So, I’ve tried a ton of night creams, including the Chebula Extreme Cream from True Botanicals. This anti-aging moisturizer is packed with powerful ingredients like Chebula, hyaluronic acid, and acerola cherry, which contains vitamin C. Plus, it’s pink and has great reviews and clinical trial results.

One thing that sets it apart from other moisturizers is that it doesn’t contain pore-clogging waxes, so the anti-aging ingredients can really penetrate the skin and strengthen the skin barrier. While I still prefer the Beautycounter Supreme Cream for its texture, I’ve been using the Chebula Extreme Cream in the morning and it’s been working wonders for me. Just keep in mind that it’s pretty thick, so if you’re not a fan of that texture, this might not be the one for you.

True Botanicals Brightening Eye Cream

True Botanicals Brightening Eye Cream

I’m really particular when it comes to eye creams and I’ve tried six different ones in the past year. None of them even came close to the amazingness of the Beautycounter Countertime Renewal Eye Cream. However, I did stumble upon this other eye cream that was pretty darn good. The only downside was that it sometimes got stuck under my fingernail, but that’s just a small annoyance when you consider the results.

It’s thick like butter, but surprisingly lightweight and absorbs into the skin and makeup layers like a dream. I’ll definitely let you know if I notice any major improvements in my fine lines. Fingers crossed! By the way, the Resurrection Radiance Eye Cream has some interesting ingredients like resurrection plant for moisture, tree bark extract for dark circles, and coffee and licorice to help with puffiness and brightening.

True Botanicals Vitamin C Booster

True Botanicals Vitamin C Booster

The True Botanicals Vitamin C Booster is such a cool product. It comes in a powder form that you can mix with water or your favorite serum. All you have to do is mix 3 shakes into your palm with whatever you’re using, whether it’s water or the Renew Serum.

Vitamin C is a really sought-after compound because it has so many benefits for the skin. It can brighten your complexion, firm up your skin, and keep it hydrated, just to name a few. And that’s not all! This Vitamin C booster not only brightens and evens out my skin tone, but it also helps reduce wrinkles. I just ordered it because I ran out of my beloved Beautycounter Vitamin C Serum. Ever since I added Vitamin C to my regular skincare routine, my skin has improved so much. It’s brighter, more even, and the dullness has improved quickly.
